Travel Necessities

Tomorrow my hubby and I are off to Cuba!  

We have a dream-like one week vacation at a 5-star all-inclusive resort ahead of us and we couldn't be more excited!!  

We are going to spend our days soaking in the sun, swimming in the turquoise blue water, and eating and drinking until our hearts content.

Ahhhhh.....I can already hear the ocean waves and taste the margarita!

Here's a list of travel necessities for a beach vacation.

1) Accessory Organizer

This is a great jewelry organizer from Stella & Dot.  It has enough room to hold all of your jewelry/accessories and it packs flat into your suitcase for optimizing space

2) Bathing Suit

3) Fedora

Perfect to keep the sun out of your face....and looks fashionable too!

4) Sandals

I love these sandals from Target.  These will look great with shorts and tank tops and then with a sundress for dinner.  Of course, I will also be taking a pair of flip flops for the beach.

5) Pretty Sundress

A sundress like the one pictured above is perfect for the evenings.  Dressy but still comfy (and will look even better with a tan!)

6) Sunscreen

A definite must for a beach vacation!

7) Ereader

I'm going to spend a great deal of time catching up on all the books I've been wanting to read lately...and, of course, all be doing all of this reading from a lounge chair on the beach

8) Shorts 

Any shorts are perfect for a beach vacation.  Whether your wearing them over a bathing suit for the beach, or a tank top for an day excursion or you could even dress them up for dinner.

9) Longchamp Bag

To be used for travel and as a beach bag.

10) Sunglasses

Need those sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun.

11) Beach Cover-Up

A cover-up is a must-have for a beach vacation. It's the easiest thing to throw on over your bikini to get to and from the beach.
