Green & Gladiator Sandals

Although we have been back to the grind for the past couple of days, I still find myself day dreaming of the turquoise ocean, sand between my toes and a pina colada in my hand.  

Another thing I love about traveling is seeing other styles from other parts of the world.  

It was these sandals that I fell in love with when I saw them on a girl who traveled to Havana with us.  The funny this was, I never asked her where she got them and I had resigned myself to the fact that I would try and find something similar to them but that I probably wouldn't be able to find the same ones.  

Anyway, fast forward to after we had returned home and I was back to doing my weekly grocery shop at Walmart when low and behold the EXACT sandals were sitting there just waiting for me.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  Unfortunately,  they didn't have my size but I was able to track down my size at a different location and for $14 they were mine.  

Now, I think of that beautiful day in Havana every time I look down at my feet.
