Lace & Gingham

I got this lace skirt at Target last year.  

It was one of those items that I loved but wasn't quite sure how to style it....

so it sat in my closet with it's tags still on for a good 9 months.  

For some reason when I woke up this morning I thought of that skirt and this outfit immediately formed in my head.  

Another article of clothing that has sat in my closet for a good year is this white denim jacket.  

For some reason it has survived a number of clothing purges.  

Again, not sure why this morning was the morning I decided to bring this bad boy of the closet.  

Anyway, this just proves sometimes it's worth keeping those few articles of clothing that you think will stand the test of time.  

I put this denim jacket on this morning and love it.  

I think we'll be seeing a lot more of it this Spring and Summer.
