These runners.  

Who knew a pair of runners could mean so much.  But love really does pop up all over the place and this time, it just so happened to pop up in the form of a runner.

You see, I mentioned awhile back that I had met a lovely boy.  Well, over the past few months, that boy has made me realize a whole lot about love.  

Love is as simple as a bouquet of $3.99 tulips.

It's as simple as a smile.

A hug.

A kind word.

Love is as simple as sharing a bowl of popcorn.

Or a pillow that reads "home is where you are".

As simple as wanting to be together. all. the. time.

It's as simple as sharing a love for Netflix.

And being obsessed with the show Homeland.

It's as simple as holding hands.

Or grocery shopping together.

Love is as simple as sweatshirts and pajama pants.

And it's as simple as matching Converse running.

You see, last weekend, we went in to a store to buy him a pair of runners and we ended up walking out with matching ones.  And to top it all off, it was his idea.

That boy, he's something all right.  

And these Converse, well, they remind me of love every time I look down at my feet.
