pretty dress.

Being on crutches has been a real pain in my butt (and hip and pelvis ;)).  The worst part of the whole thing (other than the pain, obviously) has been not being able to dress nice and feel pretty (as vain as that sounds).  For one, I've been working at home a lot of the time which has warranted sweatpants a good portion of my days.  And then, when I do happen to be going out, I have to use crutches so even when I put on a cute outfit the crutches just seem to ruin how I feel - not the best accessory, let me just say!  Plus they make you stand in a very unflattering position so everything just ends up looking bunched up and messy.

Anyway, I am happy to report that I was at my specialist again today and I am definitely on the road to recovery - which means I won't be needing crutches for too much longer!  Hallelujah!

I'm posting these pictures because this particular day, I actually felt pretty.  The sun was shining, we were away for the weekend, it was family time and I was on my way to snuggle my cousin's new baby girl at her baby shower.
